Aromatherapy massage in Cape Town
Also known as herbal heat massage. Steamed Thai herbal compresses and aromatic oils are pressed along the body to warm, soothe and relax.

A traditional Thai recipe of herbs, wrapped in cotton and steamed, brings gentle heat and a calming aroma to your massage.
Your therapist presses the warm herbal compresses along your back, shoulders and limbs, combining their heat with Thai massage technique and aromatic oil. The herbs, which typically include ginger, lemongrass, camphor and eucalyptus, release their scent as they warm.
The heat helps tight muscles let go, so it is a lovely choice in winter or when you’re feeling run down. Most clients describe it as the most soothing treatment on our menu.
What to expect
As with an oil massage, you are draped with towels and only the area being treated is uncovered. The compresses are warm, not hot; let your therapist know straight away if you’d like them cooler.
